Campaign Plan
Wellbeing Waterloo Region was formed with the goal of making transformative and large scale change. This is only possible when the whole community works together in new ways. ALL IN 2020 supports the excellent work being done by local service agencies by creating more awareness and mobilizing increased resources.

Under the housing first model, people are housed first and then are offered supports to assist with issues including, mental health and addiction. Part of the transition and support is working with individuals on how to care and maintain their unit. Sometimes  damages to units can occur which exceeds regular wear and tear. Working with landlords with partners is an essential component of the service provision model. Having a repair fund is a tool for risk mitigation, and a way to incentivize landlords to participate in the program. This has been identified as housing first best practice in many research studies. Currently no order of government is funding this tool. ALL IN 2020 wants to pilot the use of such a fund.

ALL IN 2020 is very pleased to partner with the Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation (KWCF) and the Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Foundation (CNDCF). There are three ways to donate:

  1. The CNDCF is accepting donations. All donations need to be clearly marked for ALL IN 2020. You will receive  a charitable receipt from the CNDCF and funds will forwarded to HHUG.

  2. Donations can be made through Canada Helps by clicking here  and then selecting KWCF and then ALL IN 2020.

  3. KWCF is also accepting donations directly. All donations need to be clearly marked for ALL IN 2020. You will receive a charitable receipt from the KWCF and funds will forwarded to HHUG.

The Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation has generously offered to match the first $25,000 in donations. This means whatever amount you donate will have twice as much impact.
