Waiting for Housing and Support
This is the number of people who are experiencing chronic homelessness with complex needs who want to be housed. People are experiencing chronic homelessness when they have been homeless for at least 6 out of the past 12 months. Homelessness includes people that are sleeping outside, sleeping in places not intended for human habitation, emergency shelters and couch surfing.
Our goal is to reduce this number to 3 or less by November 2020
The number of people who have been added to the priority list who are experiencing chronic homeless and have high needs. These may be people new to the list, returning from inactive and returning from being housed.
The number of people who have left the list because they found housing or moved to inactive status.
